Ladies, feast your eyes on this.

Here is my tall, dark and handsome friend. You may recognize him. He is Tony Romo's doopelganger, and doesn't enjoy when you tell him this. I must warn you though, if it is affection you seek from this man, he is presently unavailable on account of winter hibernation. If you are patient, you may be able to score some time with him once the RI thermometers hit 60 degrees. Look at those arms girls. Might be worth the wait if you can stand the vapid narcissism.

Read this blog. I've known this brilliant child my entire life.

My little sister's best friend is in London and I demanded that she, being a part of the Web-gen, document her travels and tribulations abroad via blogspot as to provide some entertainment for those of us stuck in our lovely US of A. Follow beltup, you won't be disappointed. If you're reading this Becca, don't let me and my loyal followers down.

Judy Blume...loved her at 10, still love her now.

I spent the last couple nights up reading Judy Blume's Summer Sisters. It was the first time since grad school started that I really got lost in a book and couldn't put it down. Who knew that the woman who wowed me in elementary school with Are you there God? It's me, Margaret and Freckle Juice could still dazzle me as an adult. This book made me want to go back in time and spend my summers on the Vineyard with reckless abandon and adolescent curiosity. Warning: it will bring you to tears and may result in sleep deprivation.
If only there were more hours in the day for pleasure reading...

Teaching kids to be green way before it was trendy.

Dr. Seuss, the master of rhyme, was ahead of his time. Thinking of using this book as part of my hook for the social studies lesson plan. Any thoughts?

My best friend. For many reasons other than this.

Here is Jewels down undaah posing with a meat pie and lemon solo. She makes me laugh out loud on a daily basis. Today she went to work wearing two different shoes of unequal heights. If I wear able to actually see her and interact daily, I may have to start wearing depends.

New year, new me?

I'm not big on resolutions because I can never seem to follow through. I already go to a gym, I don't smoke and for the most part, enjoy life. So here are some comical resolutions for your entertainment from my favorite funnyman.
